Highly recommend for couples
Our room was spotless, warm & beautifully furnished. The breakfast was another highlight, we opted for the full vegetarian and it was just lovely. The coffee? Plentiful!
It wasn’t the cheapest place around but still acceptable.

Can just recommend for shopping
Comfortable bed, friendly staff, and a good breakfast selection from the restaurant made our stay enjoyable, and the easy access from the M4 until Junction 19 allowed us to explore the area conveniently.

The atmosphere was inviting, with friendly staff and well-cooked, locally sourced meals. The room decor had character, although the mattress felt worn and wifi was inconsistent. A pleasant river walk nearby enhances the charm, despite some noise from the kitchen.

I had a lovely stay here for two nights where I enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the wonderful variety of beers in the evenings. Unique and historical building charm, Cozy outdoor spaces, Quick access to surrounding attractions
Noise from the busy road outside interfered with sleep!!! The bathroom could use some serious maintenance like a working window and better ventilation!!! Room cleanliness needs a boost, as I noticed dust and a broken hook!!!

I enjoyed my recent stay. The room was clean, and I appreciated the little touches, like a welcome note and sweets in my room. Breakfast was nice, and I had dinner at the restaurant where the food was good. Staff handled my requests quickly. As a couple from London, we felt comfortable and at ease during our visit.
I found it difficult to check my outfit before leaving as the room only had a small mirror. The noise from outside was noticeable at times, which may disturb light sleepers.
